The Company

Kidd Enterprises represents two companies with four divisions in the sectors of training, care and distribution, including newly launched Stevie Kidd People.

The Challenge

Company Growth partner Colin Stewart started working with Kidd Enterprises in early 2009 with a view to growing the enterprises, reducing dependency on one trading division and to enhancing net profit.

Jim Leggatt of Company Growth was instrumental in carrying out a major consultation and market research project on the care sector which was crucial to allow Kidd Enterprises to expand into this sector.

In addition, Company Growth has brought its international experience to the table, helping Kidd Enterprises to go global with the launch of Stevie Kidd People.

The Result

Kidd Enterprises is thrilled to have expanded into the care sector less than two years after the consultation by Company Growth.

Stevie Kidd People, the motivational division, is going from strength to strength, and has achieved international recognition, with requests for Stevie Kidd to speak to audiences of 500 at major training conferences and events coming in from the global stage.

The training division, a fledgling business in early 2009, is running employment training courses in many of Scotland's local authorities with absolute focus on quality of delivery for the client and the participant and profitability for the Company

In fourteen months, Kidd Enterprises has expanded from being a company with two divisions to two companies with four divisions, seen a 40% increase in turnover and increased project opportunities to £5-£6 million.
