Marlene is a commercial finance professional with 20 years experience in the property and construction industries, having held senior management positions at Miller Group and its commercial property subsidiary. She has carried out strategic and business planning for both large and small businesses, including start ups, and has been involved in the establishment and management of a significant number of joint ventures both in the UK and Europe.
She has many years experience of raising finance and has a wide banking and professional network, together with an understanding of the complexities of family owned companies.
Industry experience includes property, construction, manufacturing, mining, and airline handling services.
Marlene also has a strong background in governance in both the commercial and education sectors and is currently Chair of the Audit Committee for a Scottish university.
