Ian focuses on helping clients with the often challenging balance of growth and performance and the need to respond to market and industry challenges. With a background in management consultancy at KPMG and qualified as a Chartered Secretary, Ian has held senior positions in large companies such as Scottish Life and has assisted companies in a wide range of different sectors with clients such as Hitachi Capital, the Scottish Refugee Council and Infosys.
Delivery focused, Ian challenges and assists senior teams to demonstrate that their strategies and plans will result in increased embedded value and profitable returns on investment.
He offers a pragmatic and yet methodical approach to drilling down into key issues and facilitating resolution. Ian is often called upon to help clients implement the planned changes through the use of rigorously applied governance, compliance and business disciplines.
He also specialises in helping businesses which are striving to reduce, non-core costs and expenses. A specific focus is whether IT is properly aligned to the business and providing good value for money.
